Post It Art

Your group will have a great time with this incredibly fun, hands-on creative activity as you get in touch with your inner artists! The best part is that you don’t need to have any artistic talent or experience because you will be recreating iconic photos and paintings using only Post It Notes! This is a perfect way to tap into a group’s creativity without making anyone uncomfortable. Whether you are a master painter or you can’t draw a stick figure, the playing field will be completely even as you experiment with shading and colors, moving and tweaking the post it…

Meet Feet First Team Building Facilitators, Justin and Sarah

Meet Justin and Sarah, two of the Feet First event facilitators. Below, we ask them to share some of their thoughts on Team Building and working at Feet First. Justin: A native of Pennsylvania, Justin ended up in San Diego after high school by way of the US Marine Corps. After several years of active duty overseas, Justin settled into California life with a wife and a child. While attending an UCLA alumni summer camp, Feet First co-owner Kevin Cloutier spotted a great fit in Justin. He trained extensively, then began working as a facilitator, eventually becoming an MC, and…

Our Favorite Places for Team Building in San Diego

We do our events in all sorts of spaces: hotels, offices, convention centers. However, one of the greatest parts about living and working in San Diego is the beautiful natural surroundings, and the even more beautiful weather to enjoy them in. While the rest of the country is huddling in coffee shops and pushing through snow drifts, we’re at the beach. As a team building company, we’re lucky to have tons of great locations in and around San Diego where we can put on our events. Some of the most popular places in San Diego for Team Building Events:   Gas…

Shoe Design – For a Great Cause

We do a variety of charitable team building events here and one of our favorites is the “Style Your Soles” event. Not only do participants get to access their inner artists while creating a design on blank canvas… shoes (sorry!), but they also get the chance to work together to create a marketing campaign for their creations, jingles, posters, and even commercials. A lot of us haven’t drawn on our shoes since we owned a pair of Chuck Taylors in middle school – you might be surprised to recall how much fun you can have… and how much your design tastes have changed! At the end…

Combining Team Building and Social Responsibility

Some of our favorite and most rewarding events that we put on are our Community and Social Responsibility events. In addition to our usual repertoire of fun team building challenges, the culmination of these events is when our clients have an opportunity to directly contribute to an organization they believe in. Feet First is lucky to have developed relationships with charitable, non-profit, and other meaningful organizations throughout California over the years. From The Boys and Girls Club of America to veterans’ associations, homeless shelters to animal rescue centers, we’re happy to work with our clients to find the organization that means the most…

Sonoma and Bay Area Team Building Events

As Summer fades into Autumn what better way to boost energy levels than one of Feet First’s team building events? On site or off site, large groups or small groups, we pride ourselves on the engagement of our clients. If you’re not enjoying yourself we’re not doing our job! To that end, we’ve facilitated a variety of events in Sonoma County and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area over the last week. Invariably, we end up enjoying the events as much as the participants.. which is why we love what we do. One of our recent groups taking part in…

Leading the Way in SoCal Corporate Team Building

At Feet First we always jump at the chance to share what we’ve learned and what we can offer. To that end, we were happy to represent Southern California team building at the most recent meeting of the worldwide Destination Management Conglomerate, SITE. In this instance, we got to do a bit of both: Our VP Warren Press was invited to participate in a panel on the benefits of team building, and afterwards we were able to share some of our favorite activities with attendees. In this case we brought our bucket of LEGOs, which goes down well regardless of your age. The…

Summer Teambuilding 2015

Teams work together throughout the year but during the summertime in Southern California and the Bay Area our team building clients get to take advantage of the beautiful weather and surroundings as they make their way through the day’s activities. We’ve got some favorite locations that we we’re happy to suggest, but ultimately the choice of venue is theirs. From the beach, to the city center, to the conference room, from scavenger hunts, to water balloons, to legos, we’re happy to bring constructive, summer fun to our clients throughout California. One of our most popular locations for San Diego clients…

Team Building on the Beach

Summertime is here, and as usual, we’ve been burning up the beach, running great team building events. We took a group out to Santa Monica beach and put them through a series of our classic Survivor Games. 50 participants took part in team games as well as games for the entire group. During the event we used our brand new wooden Scrabble set, where team members are given a theme (such as “Sports Teams”, or “Movies”), and then have two minutes to build a huge crossword, spelling out as many theme-related words as they can. Our new, custom-made Beach Scrabble…
